About
There are many problems that plague our society today, from human rights to animal rights, from what we eat to what we drink, from what and who we spend our money on to what and who we do not spend our money on. This blog is to help promote awareness of these issues and to help promote the filmmakers who truly care about the future of our world.
Any commentary I provide on the film, isn’t necessarily the view of the filmmaker, it may just be inspired by what I have seen. My goal with this blog is to encourage people to move their eyes away from themselves and start to see the problems that are beyond their own homes, cities, states, and countries.
Yes, some views I present will be rather one sided and biased because I have a pretty liberal political stance, but I encourage my readers, if they see something wrong with what has been said to research the issue beyond this blog and beyond the film. If you find yourself doing this I would really appreciate you returning with this information. There are a number of ways you can do this:
- You can submit a question, a recommendation, or just dispute something you’ve read here in the respond section of my blog.
- There will be a response section after each of my blogs that will give you a chance to respond to that specific issue/film (unfortunately a few of the entries don’t have this and I am at this time unable to change that)
- You can always re-blog an entry and add your own commentary to it. The easiest way to do this is to go to the all films page, find the film, and in the upper right hand corner there will be an option to re-blog.
- Or from your dashboard you can reply to the entry.
This blog is a place where I am openly sharing my opinions on certain issues, but I try to be as respectful as I can to other people’s opinions in the process, so I would kindly ask that you do the same. And if you come to the blog with your own, well thought out rebuttal to or additional information on an issue, I am more than willing to add it.
Thank you for taking time to read what I have to say and a double thank you if you decide to contribute!
- Sholeh
